Tyler started with Rolfes Henry as a law clerk and joined the firm as an associate after graduating from law school. Tyler has served Rolfes Henry in various capacities, in multiple offices, throughout the years. Recently, Tyler’s practice is comprised mostly of assisting Kentucky insurers and their insureds in the investigation and defense of claims against them.

Tyler has dedicated nearly 15 years to the investigation of fraudulent insurance claims. This includes first-party property claims, third-party injury claims, and everything in between. Tyler’s role in pre-litigation representation to insurance companies includes recommendations for claims handling, Examinations Under Oath, and coverage analysis. He has provided legal counsel to insurers from coast to coast for all types of losses submitted under homeowners, commercial, landlord, tenant, and auto policies.

Although Tyler primarily practices in Kentucky, he continues to represent insurers and their insureds in Ohio and Michigan, state and federal courts. Tyler’s litigation and defense work includes defense of first party bad faith claims, premises liability, landlord liability, faulty workmanship, auto bodily injury, no fault, and others. Tyler has tried multiple cases to jury verdict. Those cases include first-party property and bad faith claims. Tyler has achieved successful verdicts for his clients in bench trials and dispositive motions.

Recently, Tyler has taken on litigation of various subrogation matters for the firm. If your case or claim involves an insurance policy, Tyler has probably handled something similar.

Tyler and his wife have lived in Northern Kentucky since 2002. When he is not practicing law, Tyler spends much of his free time coaching his sons in football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.
