Jacob is an experienced civil litigator who has represented individual, corporate, and governmental clients in both state and federal courts. He has represented insurance companies and their insureds on matters including first- and third-party personal and commercial issues, construction, business interruption, wrongful death, employment, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, as well as many other types of cases. Additionally, Jacob has represented clients both administratively before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and in trial and appellate courts throughout the state. Jacob has appeared on over 40 appellate cases and has briefed over 20 cases in the Ohio Supreme Court.

Jacob and his wife Kim are the parents of two children. He is a member of the Columbus Literacy Council Board of Trustees. Since 2014, Jacob has participated as both a cyclist and volunteer for Pelotonia, a community that is determined to end cancer by funding innovative cancer research at The Ohio State University’s James Comprehensive Cancer Center.
