John M. Walton



John is originally from Clinton, Maryland and a proud graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. He attended Xavier University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He went on to continue his education at the University of Cincinnati where he earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice. John proudly served for 13 years as a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department – 6 years as a Correction’s Officer and 7 years as a Special Deputy – prior to studying law at Salmon P. Chase College of Law.

While at Chase, John was a member of the Client Counseling team and served as an Associate Editor of Law Review. He earned a Juris Doctorate at Salmon P. Chase College of Law and graduated cum laude. He started working as a law clerk at Rolfes Henry in 2014.

In his time outside of work, John enjoys golfing, reading, working out, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. John lives in Cincinnati, married to his wife Jennifer and is the proud father of Gabriella, John IV, Madelyn and Aubrey.
