Nelda is a new addition to Rolfes Henry with an expansive portfolio of civil litigation experience that includes over fifteen years combined in defending cases involving professional licensing, administrative hearings, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and motor vehicle accidents. As a single parent for several years, she managed her own law practice in Miami, Florida, specializing in commercial disputes, consumer law, family law, and probate issues. Most recently, she supervised investigations for the Louisiana Department of Insurance regarding compliance with the Louisiana Insurance Code by national insurers, insurance producers, and public adjusters.

Nelda’s background includes litigation training behind the scenes in Miami as a federal court judicial intern and state court law clerk and bailiff. She received accolades as a student at the University of Miami School of Law in Civil Trial Skills and Moot Court.

Nelda’s career before law school was in education as an English and Language Arts Teacher in Louisiana. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast who currently lives in Orlando.
