Peter A. Schmid

Peter joined Rolfes Henry in 2010 and is a Partner in our Cincinnati office. Peter’s practice has centered around insurance-related matters, with Peter spending nearly fifteen years representing many of the largest insurance companies in the world litigating contractual and extra-contractual exposure issues and defending individual and institutional insureds throughout the United States.

In addition to this focus on insurance, Peter has significant experience in representing and advising commercial for-profit and non-profit entities with their most important legal matters and assisting those companies in their growth and development.

Peter has also undertaken substantial continuing education in the insurance field, having obtained his designation as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (“CPCU”), which allows him to provide unique insight into property and casualty insurance issues. Peter’s commitment to continuing education is also evidenced through his work as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky.

Peter currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Pregnancy Center East, a community organization assisting families in need, and he has served on the Board of Trustees of Corryville Catholic School, one of the flagships of Cincinnati’s Catholic school system serving the inner city.

Peter and his wife are the proud parents of six children.
